Time to step out of the shadows, I suppose. I wanted to keep my involvement with this Cafe to a minimum. I really did. Given my contemporary's willingness to work together combined with the threat the Dark poses the whole coffee-drinking nation, I don't have much choice, do I? Yes, it's true, I am one of the "eight" chosen successors of the original number himself. Makes me wonder where the other five are slacking off. No matter.
Though, for those in the Dark and otherwise keeping score, my presence here does mean this Cafe is up 2/8ths now. It's still nowhere near the original Owner's full control of the set, but I would argue we also have the other 8 on our side. Nearly half-way there, aren't we? And to clear the air—I am no imposter; I am no hackneyed "second Eight." No. It'd be quite the connection if it were true, wouldn't it be? The list of who I could be is admittedly short, but do keep in mind, the original Owner had more plans than you could possibly imagine.
As for our operations in the month of October—we have a guest Barista joining us from the other Cafe. So, please give Barista Z.B. a warm Cafe welcome, would you? He won't actually be joining us in-person as there's actually a bit of comfort food I would rather have him check out on his home coast. It seems like Aplut caused quite a stir in the boundary lines between here and Ottawa. Nothing that can't be repaired. Payroll, Big Guy, Manager, and H.R. will continue to work on more "Dark" matters. And as for the New Guy? Well… that's one secret I don't mind sharing with the Third Cafe. I'm sure he'll brighten our Barista's Day.

Hey everyone, Z.B. here a.k.a "Barista." Man, it's going to take some time to get used to these codenames. I personally don't see what's so "bloody confusing" about Employee 11411, but, hey, not my Cafe. I might also just be used to the numbers at this point. In any case, I'm excited to be helping out your Cafe! …Still kinda blows my mind that there is an entirely separate Cafe across the country, but I guess when you've got a hit on your hands you might as well franchise out a bit!
Of course, I'm not actually headed out to Plam Beach to see your guys Cafe which is a bit of bummer. Instead I'm out here off of 178 near the real and true Cafe and Diner. Seems like a customer you guys were dealing with last month, a Miss. Aplut… or, uh, just Aplut, right? Aplut she—she caused a tear in the boundary lines right along where the top of Ottawa connects up with the states. It's not a huge deal but it has brought in a small influx of customers from that part of the north, namely Mr. Pedro. Pedro. Just Pedro. Sorry.
Anyway, no sightings of Pedro yet, but I've only really been scouting around for an hour. Just figured I'd get used to the different CaDCom System… it's kinda retro, huh? I also understand that there's supposed to be a "secret fifth" member of your Cafe called the New Guy and he's going to join me ASAP to help look for Pedro. He said over the CaDCom he'd be here in an hour or two, so I'm gonna sit tight ‘til then. The Manager said I wouldn't be able to miss him when he does show up… so… that's a bit ominous. But, I am excited to help nonetheless!
