EMPLOYEE #17

Ah, it has been a while since we've gotten to order a bit of fast food—Open Doors piss-poor coffee notwithstanding. I have always loved the fast-food industry. I also adore the coffee trade, don't get me wrong, but the connections made between fast food managers? There is nothing that beats them. And it's a great reminder that not all that demands our service necessarily comes from up north. We have our own home-grown competitors as well. And, to do a favor for Mr. White, we'll need to take a short trip to a few zip codes over to Santa Clarita's Famous Golden Caramel Works.

The Golden Caramel Works is, as you can imagine, a fast-food joint focused on beautiful yellow caramel-infused treats and sweets. Working with caramel is inherently a bit dangerous, as it burns rather hot and has a nasty tendency to stick to your skin if you are unfortunate enough to get in that predicament in the first place. Still, it makes for a very enjoyable light treat with a capital b. I'm sure the majority of you are already well aware of our beloved Owner's own sweet tooth. He has quite an eye for caramel, in particular. Though I should probably just leave it at that.

Now, do you know what every fast-food joint needs? An abundance of underpaid and overworked teenagers, of course. And, what a coincidence, we have a whole fresh crop of them. I believe it would be very beneficial for the newcomers to get their feet wet in the fast-food industry, at least a little bit. However, due to #35's unique vision for the coffee trade, she might actually get stolen by the Golden Caramel Works. So, in her place, I believe our other rambunctious high school dropout, #53, will more than be able to do the trick. Plus, #53 has some experience flipping burgers, hopefully keeping #44 and #1313 safe in this high-demand environment.
