EMPLOYEE #26

Just when I was getting ready to head back to the Cafe, I got sucked into another order. It’s not critical, but I’m already close enough. #71 and #53 should already be on their way back, though. Oh well, I guess my “vacation” is just extending a bit into the Land of Opportunity. Or, uh, no… they just changed that, right? It’s the Natural State now, right? Ah, it doesn’t matter. I’m headed to the Aux Arcs. And knowing that, you can probably guess which customer has requested some Cafe and Diner coffee: Mrs. Boone.

Mrs. Boone is a commonly seen customer, especially out here in the Natural State and the Aux Arcs. She comes in at 5 o’clock and is known to have a bit of a temper to her. Besides her grumpy disposition, she’s not all bad. Loud though. Very, very loud. It’s sort of her main thing, shouting out for service. Which is how I actually heard about her arrival over there. Not that I literally heard her calling for service over in Equality, but she’s been making quite a bit of noise for our family and patrons in the area. She really can’t stay hidden for too long, especially for those who know what to listen for.

So far, our family in the area has said she’s been howling for service but not snapping at tourists. Not yet, anyway. And while I’ve seen a few hits on the message board about Mrs. Boone and some strange sounds in the region, she hasn’t made enough of a ruckus that it’s causing any concern. While Mrs. Boone has been hanging around the Natural State, I’ll need to take her down to the Show Me and Sooner State to send her home. There’s a pretty consistent airport down there. I’ll just need to pack some extra bug spray—horrible hornets this time of year.
