RECEIPT AS OF: 9/12/01

BARISTA ON DUTY: GALAO

RECEIPT FILED AS: SPS-01

How could Asmi be so stupid? Her lust for power can seriously be so annoying sometimes. Overdrawing on her Plane’s power until it's on the verge of collapsing is so typical for her. She has it in her head that because she has the most souls, she is somehow the strongest and can do whatever she wants. Well, surprise Asmi, there is actually a limit! And if the Spire of Night did snap, it wouldn't just mess up her Plane either. It'd cause a whole host of problems throughout the Otherside, all the way to the top. Not like she'd care.

At least we can try and fix things. Though it's extra annoying that in doing so, we're just going to make her stronger than she already is. Once we patch up the Spire and her not-so-secret Order of the Luminaries revamp the Labyrinths tunnels, she'll have more than enough power to keep her tags up in Long Beach and then some. I guess it's whatever. It's like another drop in the bucket for her on the grand scale of things. But eventually, the surface tension will break, and she'll cause a flood. Maybe literally if the ocean above us is any indication.

It doesn't matter if we make her stronger; once we get out of here, we should remove her tags anyway. And with my current condition… I don't know when that might be. So, it is probably for the best Asmi can actually maintain them safely until we can figure out how to remove them once and for all. Speaking of getting us out of here, though, I'm hoping that Al-Kindi was right and that by fixing the Spire, our way out will be clear… perhaps even illuminated? They would owe us, after all, and I have a strong suspicion that Castellan knows the way out.
