CAFE AND DINER RECEIPT FROM */17/17

MANAGER 323

RECEIPT: MRHYER01

STATUS: OPEN

Mr. Hyer has ordered a milkshake for breakfast with the Family over by Hotbed Airport. All is well with the wife and kids. I’ll be going to see them promptly. Haven’t heard from Mr. Hyer since ‘52. I didn’t ask if he wanted Juice or if our Family was able to offer him some. We could always replace his soda which has gone flat. It would be great to meet Mr. Hyer face-to-face, if possible. From what I’ve read, I don’t think any other Cafe has served Mr. Hyer. The original might have served him back in ‘93, though we don’t have any records of it if they did. We actually know very little about Mr. Hyer outside of what was left behind by the first Cafe.

I was uncertain where his accent was from. He also didn’t make any future reservations, but I will call ahead to set up a table for him if he does call ahead. According to previous receipts from the original location, Mr. Hyer is rather talkative if in the right company. Might try and get a sit-down with him and see if he’s interested in our current Blood Moon special. Though this might be our only receipt for him if he decides to disappear for another 60 or so years.

We first got word of Mr. Hyer’s flight around the 10th-13th. So we might just be seeing him on his way back to Ottawa. Pretty sure he was spotted by at least 23 other potential food service workers. Though, I doubt Mr. Hyer likes extra salt and pepper on his breakfast. He probably knows how to shake off what he doesn’t like. I’m unsure if he wants coffee, but we’re always willing to push it when possible. Other than Mr. Hyer’s sudden reappearance, all seems relatively normal in and around the Hotbed. I’ll do some general customer satisfaction surveys while I’m here, just to confirm what seems normal is indeed normal.
