Hello everyone. Servers and patrons alike. Friends too, though I’d rather skip the pleasantries for them. Seeing as we are once again staffed up despite... well, despite the few we lost along the way, it’s probably a good time to re-open the Cafe to patrons. For how long? Who knows. If things go ‘72, we’ll go back to reservations only. Of course, this brings a few questions.

What about the Archive project Long Island was working on? It is still ongoing. Last I heard, they were working with the Palm Beach team to get some of their receipts decrypted for the site. Seeing as whatever our current cases end up being will make their way to the Archives anyway, that is where patrons can find our public receipts as they release them. Of course, I cannot predict what we will be up against, so as the boss, I’m just putting out a general rule that not everything will be publicly available. At least not immediately so. Basically, if the coffee’s too hot, we have to let it cool.

Speaking of coffee that is still too hot, the haunting. Considering what we found out, we can’t put any of that on the site yet. It’s far too dangerous to those we love and those we hate. Not to mention, I’m sure our patrons have enough on their plates with the eight accessible Archives. On that note, we’re still looking for three of the Archives though it hasn’t been a priority. One of the Archives, “The Indigo Wars,” is pretty heavily corrupted thanks to some unauthorized overtime. We’ll probably need the Bistro’s help in getting that one cleaned up. And then “Diner Diner” is in the same category as the Haunting. I have the files. I can’t release them yet. I’m sure you all understand.

So, how can patrons help us? Well, now that we have a chaotic number of employees spread out across the country, we can look into a lot more comfort food than before. If you or someone you know sees something that requires a cup of coffee, let us know. Like the page says, we can’t make any promises, but we will do our best. Especially now that we are a bit more travel-limited. In addition, our new receipt system does allow for comments on a post-by-post basis. Sometimes we might turn those on if we need your input or help with a customer or receipt. What about sweeteners, though? Well, sweeteners will be given out as needed when possible. Due to the nature of ongoing cases, we can’t always sweeten your coffee for you. Though, the passwords have always been more of a deterrent for our customers than our patrons. So always feel free to reach out over Twitter or by Email.
