Down, down came that ol’ birch tree, so now let's a have a final looksee,

Big Man Bart has been choppin' down Cimmerian Trees.

One chop, two chops, chop, chop, three,

Down, down, fall birch, ash, oak, apple, and pine trees.

First falls the flaking birch, and up arises a hellish church.

From his blood, they're born anew. From his blood,

A debt comes due.

Then falls the diamonded ash, which causes the ancient Archons to crash.

Sealed away in the sleepless brew in their deathless death,

A debt comes due.

Next falls the bitter oak, and an ancient knowledge which cannot be spoke.

Heavy shadows filled their lungs with sable dew. With the ebon birth,

A debt comes due.

Then falls the forsaken apple, as his shadows stretch across the empty chapel.

And with their eons long coup, the Archons fall, and

The Debt comes due.

Wolf's bane and trees of pine,

The architects die as the stars align.

First, a stone to hold the World in all its maturity,

Then came a stone for Jupiter, in all its purity.

Next was a stone for Mercury, full of mysteries,

And then a stone for Saturn and its checkered histories.

Then a stone for Earth, in its quiet curiosity,

And a stone for Mars, brimming with ferocity.

Next, a stone for Uranus, and its dark wit,

And twin stones for the Sun and Moon—equally split.

Next, a stone for far off Pluto, deep in space,

And a stone for lovely Venus, tied in lace.

Last, a stone for Neptune, full of grace.

Low tide, high tide, black tides seem quite curious,

A thirteenth stone to remedy a life deemed, oh, so injurious.
