More and more familiar faces have started turning up at Padre’s Sunday services. Not just tourists anymore, either. It would seem he’s invited numerous orange juice-drinking customers to witness his grand “breaking of the gate.” Of course, I have been taking full advantage of Miss. Fitch’s generous offer to let us sit in on services unimpeded. Otherwise, I would never have guessed so many customers would cross the border just to hear Padre ramble on and on about his unholy wrath and unchallengeable greatness. I’m sure they all get enough of that back in Ottawa.

It would take me all day to list every interesting face I saw at this week’s service, and most of them are more interesting to me than the Cafe. However, two faces in particular stuck out to me: Mrs. Pleasant and Mrs. Aka. Or are they now Misses following the whole “Dark” affairs? I know that Umbra rightfully earned the title of Miss, but I’m not sure about these two. It doesn’t help that #1313’s Cafe refused to utilize the honorifics. And we do call Padre’s current cohorts Miss, so it almost feels rude to exclude Pleasant and Aka from the title.

Speaking of Miss. Umbra, though, I saw no sign of her here. Though, even if I did see Umbra, would it truly be Umbra? Or would it be the imposter? I would assume the latter. Though even without Umbra, seeing two-thirds of the once Dark Triad of Padre Santos is concerning, to say the least. However, the dash of creamer for this cup of coffee is that they both seemed removed from Padre’s clergy. They were both sticking to back and hardly mingled with the big bad himself. I wonder what they are up to…
