I’ll do it. I’ll go with Dover to the Manoir des Veines Noires. I’ve actually dealt with a few Black-Veins before. They aren’t pleasant, and as Dover mentioned, they are technically Elderlings. They have pretty standard strengths and weaknesses though—they’re fast, they bite, they drain, but they’re also allergic to light. Flashlights and candles won’t work as they’re able to disrupt electricity and easily blow out flames. Glowsticks, however, should work. Though they aren’t as directly damaging to the Black-Veins, they’ll keep them at bay.

Also, sorry for the slight absence. I’ve been working with Zver. With Twain’s permission, he’ll be leaving Severny to help contain the Sebitti. Despite the war, Zver is confident Russia won’t be able to overcome its defenses in his absence. Plus, seven very dangerous Elders are more important than just sitting around all day. I think it’s also an excuse for the four Indigo Children to actually meet up and discuss, well, whatever Indigo Children discuss. They haven’t had a meeting since last year.

Anyway, I’ll make the proper preparations, and then Dover and I will head out to the Manor. We should be able to leave by Monday. I’m not sure what to expect regarding the Sebitti, especially if each is truly different. There is also the issue that the Sun of Babylon can’t point us directly to it. Even if we could muster enough light down there, the Black-Veins would be quick to destroy it, so it’s not worth the risk of taking it with us. After all, I can’t imagine they would be fans of something called the SUN of Babylon. Though, while we look around the Manor, perhaps Silenziosa could borrow a Shaka and scope out another Plane we haven’t checked yet. Of the remaining five, I wouldn’t bother checking your 3 o’clock. The Freezer is pretty certain that’s where our original Sebitti came from.
