CAFE AND DINER RECEIPT FROM 9/14/17
MANAGER 62
RECEIPT: ICEMACHINE001
STATUS: BROKEN
We recently received a new Ice Machine in the California store. Made in Ottawa, replacement parts are tough to come by. This Ice Machine was a gift from Mr. Hyer and was given to 323. Parts needed for it can most likely be found at the Column Deep Blue. We could potentially have Barista Technologies develop new parts, although I'm doubtful they'll be willing to sell them to us. As an alternative option, we could have 323 deliver a singing telegram from the Cafe and Diner and hope for a bargain.
I'm unsure if this Ice Machine is related to the recent "DeepCorp23" issues we've been dealing with or if it has something to do with Mrs. Pleasants strange flight path. Just to be safe, we should only connect the Ice Machine to auxiliary networks for the time being. Perhaps the Ice Machine is meant to help with our security? From its appearance alone, it looks like it makes a specific type of ice, although only one type of ice at a time. While I can't say it's a great idea, I do think the only way to know what kind of ice this machine makes is to get some water and plug it in. Time will tell, I suppose.
It should only take me a week or so to get it running at its lowest setting. As I mentioned, it seems to be missing some critical parts that let it really crank out some ice. But, hopefully, just plugging it in will give me an idea of how safe this ice will be to use in drinks. The strangest thing about the Ice Machine is actually its name. It's very literally called "The Ice Machine." I know that it's an "ice machine," as far as the diner is concerned, but I doubt that it actually just makes ice. If so, it's a very strange gift from a very strange customer.

RECEIPT: MRSPLEASANT03
STATUS: OPEN
We enjoyed a nice with Mrs. Pleasant though we didn't have the time to say hi. She offered to split a milkshake with us and a side of home fries, but we gracefully declined. Though, we couldn't help but notice her home fries were a bit over-seasoned. A little too much salt and pepper for our liking. Must've picked up a few extra packets from the nearby Hotel, Marriott. I think I'll try and get some juice for Mrs. Pleasant before she gets some sub-par, pulp-filled Hotel juice. All that salt must have made her thirsty by now.
I'll bring her juice with dinner—maybe even an early dinner if it's more convenient. Manager 62 has delivered a headset prototype that should make serving her home fries a bit easier. Assuming it works, and knowing 62 it does, I'll head in for a good old-fashioned sit-down with her myself. Small talk is to be expected, as Mrs. Pleasant is known to be a rather chatty customer when cornered. At least, I would assume she is. From what I've heard, she always has something to say.
In good news, there have been no signs of Mrs. Pleasant's historical cohorts, Mrs. Aka and Mrs. Umbra. It might be too far west for them—or, well, that is, if they are even still around in the Flipside. As I understand it, the Cafe had a run-in with Mrs. Umbra around April of last year, and she hasn't been seen since. Though, I presume wherever Mrs. Umbra might be—Mrs. Aka is sure to follow. Mrs. Pleasant seems to be resting here, so I'll see if I can catch her a cold glass of juice tonight.
That's all.

CAFE AND DINER RECEIPT FROM 9/19/17
MANAGER 224
RECEIPT: FESTERINGFLIES13
STATUS: CLOSED
"Just remember, every time you look up at the moon, I, too, will be looking at a moon. Not the same moon, obviously. That's impossible."
Well, that about wraps up our FESTERINGFLIES Order! Feels nice to get a bit of closure… even if that closure is just another enigma wrapped in a mystery drenched in further intrigue. 134 is pretty sure that Mr. Diptera is no ordinary coffee drinker—worse—he partakes in the devil's temptation, the drive-thru of deadly pleasures, and the forbidden and freakishly fast... Fast Food. Yep. And having also seen what we're up against here, I have to agree with my morbid friend that it does seem like Mr. Diptera has dipped into Fast Food territory. While we don't know where he's getting his food from yet, we are almost positive the flies have been attracted to some fast food.
On a hunch, I believe the Fast-Food Joint we're after can be found in and around the Golden Gate area. Which, as luck would have it, is at least near our regular base of operations, meaning we probably won't need to go on any more extended road trips in the near future. Though knowing 125's luck… Though Golden Gate is a pretty big place, and we don't exactly have anything more than a hunch to go off of yet, so we'll head back to the Cafe in the meantime.
As for Mrs. Stevens, 134 decided to pay her tab in full. Mostly to see what would happen. Usually, we would try to avoid paying a tab in full as it could lead to significant losses down the road, but we figured Mrs. Stevens' tab should've already been paid, so what's the harm? Much to 134's disappointment, nothing special seemed to happen when he paid her tab in full though we suspect Mr. Diptera is only interested in customers who still have a bit of debt to them.
