Well gang, we made it another month! Moreover, we’ve added another new face to our Cafe and Diner, Caramel. She’s an expert in both booking flights and bending rules. With her help, I’m hoping we’ll finally be able to serve Mr. Perez his dinner—speaking of this Friday, we’re going to make our attempt at it. In the best case, everything goes smoothly, and we can send Mr. Perez happily on his way. Worst case? Not worth worrying about! However, there is one particular hang-up we still need to overcome with Mr. Perez… his order.

We know that he’s going to want a Dinner Mint of some kind, but we still haven’t exactly figured out what should precede his post-meal treat. He might just be looking for a drink, either Water or a Nightcap, or he might be after some Sushi or Pad Thai. While we had ruled out some of those early on, due to his worsening condition… it’s possible he’s a fish out of water, or his hunger can never be sated. Which brings me to my next point…

I think we could use some hands-on experience with Canadian cuisine preferences. With Caramel’s help, we should be able to take a quick flight there and back, plus it could be useful to get a lay of the land, so to speak. Between Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, Dinner is actually the perfect meal to do a bit of exploration and taste-testing with. Lunch may be a bit more hostile, especially with the sugar-heavy Cola, and Breakfast is a meal that’s a bit too sacred to mess with right now. But Dinner? We should be able to poke our heads around and at least enjoy a few drinks and perhaps some Sushi on the side. Along the way, I’m certain we’ll find out what Mr. Perez would like for his own dinner!

Soon to be down and out,

Hibiscus
