As mentioned in the prior Case File, we here at the Midnight Cafe and Diner are going to brew up a strong cup of Green Tea. And how does one make Green Tea? Well, we're going to start with some Ice Water. Of our staff, we have a Corpse Reviver drinker, an Ice Water drinker, a Scotch drinker, and a… shoot. I don't think we have a menu item for Alaric, do we? And I just expanded things with Cafe au Laits, London Fogs, and Flat Whites not that long ago. I guess my mind hasn't been particularly on "celestial" folk in awhile. Dirty Martini. Sure. Why not? And a Dirty Martini drinker. And whatever the hell Indrid drinks.
Point is, we've got a diverse staff that is utterly, entirely, dreadfully detached from Green Tea itself. So, we need to get creative. Thankfully, Ranoma, our Ice Water comrade, is quite familiar with various drinks and Green Tea is rather close to Ice Water, all things considered. In fact, at one point, Green Tea and Ice Water inhabited the same space on our menu (along with Orange Juice, Corpse Revivers, and Hot Chocolate—enough drinks to Skald your tongue, I'd say).
Ranoma claims to know how we can acquire Green Tea through Ice Water, and through an unorthodox distribution chain no less. I'm excited to see what the little guy has in store. And, as a reminder for those less familiar with how the public repository of the Cafe and Diner Network operates, anything without a password is more or less in "code speak." We aren't talking about actual beverages here, people. We're talking about traversal. Ah—if only… if only there was a way to catch everyone up on all of the diner-speak. A way written in the stars. A problem for another day and another update. Right now, we've got a drink to brew.

I can confirm we have brewed a successful cup of Green Tea. Five baristas knocked out cold. One missing little boy. And Daichi owes me a drink. I do miss being able to freely sample any drink I desired, but also, is the journey itself not beautiful in its own right? And now we are in the second most beautiful region of the wide world. Well, perhaps third now that we serve Apple Cider. Rolling endless green for as far as the eye can see. If Ice Water is the essence of an unfettered ocean, Green Tea is the essence of nature at its purest. And we made our tea with the perfect amount of time to let the leaves Bloom.
Once the others wake up, we'll head out to see if we can't find Ms. Rousimoff and her Mangrove Syndicate. We'll also need to track down Mr. Loveland. Yes, our Mr. Loveland. He ran off ahead without us. I suspect he wanted to scout ahead… but I do fear something worse might have happened to him. He is, after all, a frog out of water. Though, he claims to have had more than a few cups of Green Tea in his time, so hopefully he won't so easily get lost. If we brewed this drink a few months earlier, well, then I'd be Howling to find him quicker. All things considered though… It is rather pleasant here.
Indrid and Naberius have woken up and I think Jericho is halfway there. Once everyone is ready we'll make our way into the Everwoods toward the Hollow where Beez, the Silenus Sponsor, resides. It's truly awful form to not bring Beez an offering while here and I would loathe to be considered an ill-guest of his so I figure that should be our first stop. Besides, have you seen the cold shoulder he's been giving Silenus? I'd rather stay on his good side.
