We call it "Green" Tea for a reason. I don't believe I've ever been so blinded by the abundance of the color green. You know, this isn't even as green as it gets, either. All things considered the "Emerald Shore" is a rather soft green. A pale, jade, bioluminescent, fading, breathing, pulsating, pulled and pushed by the thin tides of Mayda's waning reach… "green." The smell of this "tea" is also worth noting. It is rather the richest marriage of petrichor and ozone, sulphide and salt, earth and sea. Though I wouldn't get too attached to the water, as much of Green Tea is without any major standing bodies of it, a side effect of Ice Water being torn away from it via the steeping process.
Well, enough setting the scene, we came to get a cup of Green Tea for a reason. A giant reason. A Ms. Roussimoff sized reason. We need to find her, track her down, and put a stop to… to whatever it is she is doing here. As of yet, that much is still unclear, though I have my suspicions. See, Ms. Roussimoff is old, as you likely know. Older than most. Almost as old as Daichi. Almost as old as Green Tea itself. And there exists a certain kinship between people and places that old. I am certain Ms. Roussimoff knows of something buried beneath the tea leaves, as it is.
What that "thing" is, is not my place to guess at. Many, many, notes and flavors lie at the dregs of a cup of Green Tea. In fact, Kur-rent events now also lie at the bottom of the cup. Maybe Ms. Roussimoff isn't after anything so old as she is after something… New. Something that did not exist prior to her past trips around our big Spherical globe. Perhaps Ms. Roussimoff is no longer content to smash a few… but now she seeks to smash thousands? Or perhaps that is baseless speculation. Only one way to find out; to find her.

Well so much for reason. Naberius (all singular of him at the moment), Indrid, Julius, and I are fully in agreement. We are in Beez's territory and we have yet to pay our dues to him. That is unacceptable and puts us all at great risk. Yes. Theoretically we can stand against Beez and the forces of his Green Tea. And yes, we shouldn't have to, seeing as he is a sponsor of the Cafe and Diner Network. But that is not how Green Tea works. Trust me. I have tried this before and it never ends well. Hell—ask Dan how his Cafe is faring after a few missed tributes due to circumstances entirely out of their control. And us? We? We walked right past Beez without so much as saying "hello," let alone giving him something for the damn Feast.
I should have expected as much working with Jericho Myerscough. Never one to follow the rules. Daichi too. Alaric surprised me but I suppose this is more emotional for him than his cold demeanor lets on. Oh well. What can we do about it now? We're already here and the locals have shown us Ms. Roussimoff's path. Even better, they've confirmed to us that she is alone. We probably don't have a better time to serve her.
I am, admittedly, too young to have dealt with Ms. Roussimoff's kin. But I know Daichi isn't overselling it. Hell, I am cut of a similar cloth. Hopefully this next case will be the end of the Mangrove Syndicate. If we are able to play our cards correctly, this might be one of the cleanest customer interactions the Cafe and Diner Network has ever had. While I suspect Ms. Roussimoff has goals and motivations that are more complex than we perceive, I also feel, truly, deeply in my heart—the reign of Giants ended for a damn good reason.
