Well, no Julia in that mess. Which is a shame. Although I have a feeling, we'll be seeing her again soon enough. Mr. Cold isn't one to tell lies. So, consider this case paid. Of course, if she doesn't turn up by the end of the month, well, we'll open it back up. For now, that's my thoughts on the situation, no need to dig deeper.

Seeing as we have new clients coming in from Quebec, I think it would be pertinent to develop a unique cocktail tailored to their tastes. So, may I present to you good folks Number 161's latest mixology experiment: The Quartz Brain Electric Boogaloo. I'm not entirely sure what ingredients will be needed yet, beyond a similar base to the Quartz Brain Cocktail. Then again, perhaps that flavor profile can't even tap into their complex palettes. There's a chance that Pendragon's Bistro knows the right flavors to craft a delicate nightcap to go with a good book. Failing that… Perhaps I'll just need to wing it. And as you all know, I am so good at winging it.
Ingredients I'm going to look into are Amaretto, Kahlúa, 5's Favorite, Scotch, Herbsaint, Ice, and Cointreau. That is assuming… well, I don't if we're allowed to mix that drink anymore. Technically I had nothing to do with it, but Avians tend to hold grudges. Obviously, if we can taste the drink of Quebec, we'll have a much better understanding of what and where it is. To my knowledge, no one has mixed this cocktail yet, at least no Americans… so it looks like I'll be the first.
And as there is a first for everything, there is also a last, and I hope this is the last formal report I ever have to write. I bid you all adieu, and I'll see you in Quartz Brain Electric Boogaloo number 2!

Uhm, hi again, everyone. I'm… back? My memories are a bit fuzzy on what, uh, happened, but I just sort of woke up here again today. I guess I was missing? I mean, the calendar sure says I've been missing for like a month. And I guess while I was gone, the Cafe got sold? And now I'm a manager? I'm… very lost, honestly.
I guess I am an 8 technically? The primary 8, or uh Manager No. 0, can sort of "tell" if you are or aren't an 8. I mean… what even is an 8 anyway? Like, I just thought it was sort of a title that everyone used to say, "hey I'm the owner of this Cafe," but then like it's also something that can be divided amongst people and passed down and aghhh, it's all so confusing!! So I think Manager No. 0 is the 8 or at least the first 8. He then split his 8 into 3 pieces assuming he was going to die. He didn't, so 44B gave him back his piece, Manager No. 1 obviously kept hers, and then 44A split her piece even further and gave it to Manager No. 4, 5, and 6. And somehow, in all that mess, Manager No. 3 got a piece from… ??? I guess from "Sophie," whoever that is. And now I'm back, and I have a piece? Which…??? I don't know. I mean, I'll know... eventually, I hope. But for right now, I think it's okay for me not to know.
So while I was gone, I guess the uh, mess got cleaned up, which is good. I'm still really, really, really, sorry about all of that. I didn't know- well, I still don't know exactly why they were after me. But I really appreciate all the help. And also, I've been getting accustomed to the CaDCom system, and it looks like some weirdness needs looking into. If you're still looking for someone to accompany you, Manager. No. 3, I'm more than happy to help! Plus, it might be good to learn some of the ropes of this, uh, coffee business thing.

I finally have the time to go check out this Mrs. Kay for myself! Plus, I get to take Manager No. 7 with me as a bonus. I asked if she wanted to wait a bit before getting right back into things, but she seemed more than excited to dive in. I remember back when I was that eager to serve coffee. There's also something… different about her. But I'll let her talk about that.
Anyway, seeing as OSO is getting to be a bit big for a normal case and there seems to be more than one customer from the other side of Ottawa, I think we'll split it off in the new year. I'll keep them all filed under OSO, but I'll make subfolders so we can give equal attention to BCO, LEP, and any other OSO-y cases. Plus, I've heard from Manager No. 1 that there are some other, other customers out there that we need to look into. They might just be rumors right now, but still worth keeping that in mind. I mean, Mrs. Lludd and Mrs. Kay were just rumors a month ago. In any case, wherever they're coming from, I think Employee No. 17 is right… it's gotta be tied to Lucy's passing. Her death seems to have brought in a lot of new and strange customers.

Hi again, again, everyone! I'm so excited to be working for the Cafe and Diner! And I'm already a manager! You usually don't move up that fast unless there's like nepotism involved, haha. Anyway, I'm feeling fine after the whole… who knows really. I don't feel sick, or tired, or hurt, or anything! The only side effect I've noticed is that sometimes in certain lights, I can see these sort of patterns on my arms. I'll see if I can draw them for you. It looks like a lemniscate and two teardrops in like a fancy square. I'm not really sure what it means yet, but I'm almost certain it has to do with my weird disappearance. And my skin isn't like weirdly scratched or raised or anything; it's just in certain lights I can see it.
